Longmorn-glenlivet 1970s 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Old bottle)

Out of stock

Description

1970s Official Bottling. In 1970, the Grant family and blender Hill Thompson (which had a long relationship with Longmorn) merged with The Glenlivet & Glen Grant Distilleries Ltd to create The Glenlivet Distilleries Ltd. The Glenlivet Distilleries Ltd. was bought by Seagram in 1977 and (minus Glen Grant) is now part of Chivas Brothers. This bottling was released under the name of Hill Thompson, meaning it was bottled before 1977. They have stopped the OB of 10YO and licensed to G&M to release the 10yo range after seagram has taken over. In 1980s, they have decided to release a 15YO OB and changed the bottling to the dumpy bottle until early 2000s.
